Start from what you already teach

Describe a topic and add up to three web pages, and 9PM Quiz writes ten questions with answers and explanations. Or bring a quiz you built in NotebookLM from your PDFs and notes.

From your material, through NotebookLM

NotebookLM reads your PDFs, slides and notes and writes the questions. 9PM Quiz checks them and runs them live.

  1. Open NotebookLM and add your PDFs, slides or notes.

    Open NotebookLM
  2. Copy our prompt into the NotebookLM chat, and replace [YOUR TOPIC] with your subject.

Everyone plays in their own language

Questions, answers and explanations are translated for each player before the first question appears. If a translation isn't ready in time, the quiz shows its original language, never a mix of both.

Questions hosts ask

Do learners need an account?

No. A quiz you build here opens to anyone with its code: learners type it and play, with no account. For signed-in players only, choose "Signed-in players" in the quiz settings, and players sign in with Google or Apple. Quizzes with prizes always ask players to sign in.

Can I use a quiz I made in NotebookLM?

Yes. Copy our export prompt into NotebookLM, paste what it returns into 9PM Quiz, and the validator checks every question before import.

Can I run it live, or let people play when they want?

Both. Host a live session and move through the questions yourself, or schedule the quiz and let everyone play at their own pace while it is open.

Can I show the quiz on a projector or a stream?

Yes. Every quiz has a join screen with the code in large type and a live count of players. Share that one window with the room or your stream.

How are answers scored?

Choose simple scoring, one point per correct answer, or time-based scoring, where faster correct answers earn more.

What happens to my learners' data?

Their answers and scores are shared with you, the host. Leaderboard entries are anonymized after a year, and deleted accounts are erased right away. We follow the GDPR, including for any transfer outside the EU.

Read the privacy policy
Can we have it under our own brand?

Yes, with a white-label platform.

See the options for organizations
Can sponsors pay for a quiz?

Yes. Each quiz has sponsor spots on the waiting, pause and results screens. You set the price and keep the revenue.
